HACB’s Children’s Reading Club

The HACB’s Children’s Reading Club is done in partnership with the HUD initiative of the Book Rich Environments (BRE), whose purpose is to foment the love of reading among the youth. The Children’s Book Club meets every quarter at a different amenity around the city of Brownsville. At these quarterly reading events, youth are read to by our community partner guest readers and the youth get to explore the amenity where the reading took place. At the end of each reading, youth receive a copy of the book to take home. This program is for youth between the ages of 5 and 12. For more information, please call 956-214-1524.
