Opportunity Centers

HACB has four Opportunity Centers. The Opportunity Centers house the after-school programs. Our afterschool program is the perfect environment for formal and informal mentoring of young people. Studies show that mentoring is a critical element in every child’s social, emotional, and cognitive development. It builds a sense of competency, boosts academic performance, and broadens horizons. Our tutors help our youth realize their potential by providing them with support, advice, encouragement, and friendship.
